Sending some rejections to submissions for anthology, I am not using form rejections. We tell the writers what would have made the story stronger for us.
No idea how they received it, but at least we give them some way to maje the writing better. 📚💙

We had our first official acquisition meeting. With three briefings plus a memoir meeting we're setting up.

We scheduled a chat with the agent from one.
We know exactly how we need to dissect the two full manuscripts to create an editorial strategy for each.
