The web client for alttext.symm.app, as of like 15 minutes ago, is up & running again. I am honestly not sure if the Extensions work right now, but I will try to test again later.

The AI Opt-Out list & related posts have been deleted. It wasn't very effective, & was always intended as just a band-aid & an olive branch. I hope to build something robust with collaborators at @reducethenoise.org, but it may be ages before that is achieved.

Hello. I haven't checked this account in ages. My apologies. I haven't been able to maintain the projects shared here due to personal issues. I'm deeply sorry if you were using them. Most things have been & will remain offline/paused, but I hope to return to them. It'll just be a while.

- not all listed file types are actually working.
- mobile layout is total trash & unusable, basically right now.

k k. i'll keep cookin' it. it will keep changing for a long time, i imagine. like a star wars remaster nobody asked for with a really jarring CGI Jabba the Hutt, this project will have a blu-ray remaster with 10 more lines of instructions for it's 5th anniversary, i imagine.

well perhaps someone may one day find some value in my repeated meticulous refinement of the instructions, but beyond that, i am not sure how much they could actually use. idfk. i am an amatuer & i vibe coded all this like crazy, so i am basically an idiot who yells at code with AI agents. xDDD

i mean, i would love for them to do the same concept & make this obsolete, but i don't think it is a priority for them.
