Democrats had to conduct a poll to “find out” that rank and file members are disappointed with the party. Really. The party leadership didn’t know already how seriously disconnected they are from voters. We are in pretty bad shape.

Bluesky feels safer and more intellectually mature than some of the other platforms. With that said, that may be part of the reason that it doesn’t get the traction of X or Threads.
Bluesky can do a better job of telling its story and value proposition. It can remain a smallish efficient platform.

Retirement
I support the idea of wanting to serve your constituency BUT there is a time when your effectiveness as an elected representative is over shadowed.
