Was listening to the Graphic Audio adaptation of Fourth Wing, and I got to the part when Xaden laughs when talking to Violet about their dragons bond and not shielding from it. I was grinning like a love struck teenager, his laugh was so great :D

Ended up buying a “Reese’s Creamy” candy bar, now I’m not sure if it’s any creamier than a standard Reese’s PB Cup or if I was duped by clever marketing into thinking I was trying something new. Still delicious, either way, well played. :P

Having a newly enrolled kiddo in preschool sucks. Send us all the germs, cuz apparently along with education, we asked for it. I hate that my three year old has a fever and so does the hubby. Just waiting for it to take me out too. Send us some healing vibes please.

You know back in the day when people used to have to put a pan of hot coals under their mattress to stay warm at night. Well I’m doing the opposite this summer and sleeping with ice packs because it’s too darn hot out here. I miss being cold :(

Making lemon shortbread cookies for a belated Mother’s Day tea with the family and I my hand mixer has completely disappeared. Guess I will use the Kitchen-aid to cream the butter and sugar :/

Just found my toddler’s camelback cup sitting in the windowsill with milk in it from sometime earlier this week??? Just decided to order a new one because the amount of nope involved with opening it and cleaning it related to the smell alone terrifies me.
