also I think SF people talk about flywheels in a way that it's hard to make it move at first, but then it gets easier (like an idealized growth of a startup?) (dunno!)

hm, but in this specific case @andymatuschak.org writes about "movies AND technology development" acting as "coupled flywheels" which still makes sense? turning one turns the other and vice versa?

this is an issue even on the desktop, for Slack for example I want to have three threads opened for reference, and another tab to just monitor one channel where live errors come in, etc.

I often think of this as showing the fundamental issue with app-centrism, I often drift towards just a web browser if the thing is available this way so I can do crazy things, like, open multiple tabs
