I wouldn't mind the remake if Gears 5 didn't end on a cliff hanger lol. I know not many people play it for the story, but there are literally dozens of us!
You know how people were creeped out by Polar Express hitting the uncanny valley? That's how I feel about the Crash Remakes. They're like someone trying to impersonate a beloved friend.
I'm reminded of Worf from Star Trek drinking prune juice (and a scene in the novel Planet X where Worf introduces Wolverine to the warrior's drink). I'd like to think that Wolverine listens to something most people wouldn't expect, like Tom Lehrer.
