Today is #WoTtober 21 - Windfinder

This piece was honestly the most difficult I've done yet. Had to learn how light interacts with dark skin. And I still haven't quite got it yet. Will have to practice more.

I even had to re-read parts because I was just going "what, really?!"

Once the chaos of October and November subsides (WoTtober, self-portrait day on 1 Nov, and maybe submit something for WoT Idol Holiday Extravaganza if I can think up of anything), I think I'll go focus on studying on painting techniques again.
Should revisit the basics too.

I'm liking the concept of the Atha'an Miere. Their ancestors fled to the seas during the Breaking, and now they are a seafaring people.
