Long career clearly came to a close at #UFC323 for Henry Cejudo. He put up his best effort and didn't waver for a minute but didn't have many answers for the younger man.

Impressive showing from Payton Talbott in many ways. Gritty, fun, and he got better as it went on. #MMA

Henry Cejudo just got taken down twice at #UFC323 by Frank Ocean's boyfriend. Amazing timeline we live in. #MMA

Merciful stoppage by Herb Dean to save Edson Barboza from more punishment at #UFC323. A scrappy fight, Barboza swung hard early on in an Aldo-like fashion but couldn't hold up to the same force coming back.

For Jalin Turner, a relieving fight after a retirement & 1-4 stretch nearly ended his career

Worth noting how big of a puncher Ibo Aslan actually is, too. He hits hard and amended a regular critique of his at #UFC323 (not letting his hands go enough).

It turned into an insane fight but I'm impressed with Iwo Baraniewski's durability and heart in that one. #MMA

UNBELIEVABLE fight between Iwo Baraniewski and Ibo Aslan. Back-and-forth, both men stunning each other multiple times, both swinging for the fences. Only 1:29 long and it's all PURE WAR.

Late contender for 2025's Round of the Year. #UFC323 #MMA

Quick start and quick finish for Mansur Abdul-Malik at #UFC323. Hard to say anything negative about a dominant performance that lasted only about a minute.

Worth suggesting that such a talent gets moved into more interesting bouts, though. #MMA

Emphatic third round finish for Mairon Santos to tie up a fairly one-sided affair. Now 4-0 in the UFC and looking sharper every time he fights. Good showing for the 25-year-old Brazilian at #UFC323. #MMA

Mairon Santos vs. Muhammad Naimov to open up #UFC323. Besides the weight miss for this one, I think Santos has a bright future in the sport overall. He's skilled and deceptively poised for a young man of only 25 years old. #MMA

Yeah, it's holiday time at the #UFC323 weigh-in show. #MMA

Busted bones at #ONEFridayFight134. Wishing a speedy recovery to Alaverdi Ramazanov.

Erin Blanchfield is 100% pitbull. Tried to keep it clean to begin with but couldn't get the results she needed. Made it messy and forced a victory in gritty fashion.

Organizations can clearly put these two in the cage any time and they'll have a good scrap. #MMA #UFC322

Absolutely stellar debut from Ethyn Ewing at #UFC322. He rose to the occasion and had the best performance of his career against the best opponent he's ever faced.

Easy to be excited about what the guy can do with full camps now. #MMA

A quick, decisive win for Kyle Daukaus to close the book on GM3.

As much an exciting indicator for Daukaus (now 4-0, 4 finishes in last 21 months) as it was a clear sign of Meerschaert's recent decline (0-4, 3 finish losses in last 12 months). #UFC322 #MMA

Cuts complicated things for Pat Sabatini but his grappling + wrestling prowess can't be denied. Tenacious in tie-ups and got his revenge on Chepe Mariscal.

The pair shares a 1-1 record against each other now. Surely it's a burning question if they'll ever do it again... #UFC322 #MMA

Dominant win for Fatima Kline over #12 ranked Angela Hill at #UFC322. It's easy to see her lining up with someone like #8 Tabatha Ricci or #6 Loopy Godinez soon.

The 25-year-old Kline is improving fast and gunning for top 10 opponents. A highly-skilled emerging contender. #MMA #WMMA

Utterly gorgeous finish in round three from Baisangur Susurkaev but there is a growing trend of vulnerability developing with him.

He's getting by his initial UFC tests but he is consistently struggling more than he's expected to; gas tank issues compound concerns. #UFC322 #MMA

Hard to overstate how important Shevchenko vs. Zhang is at #UFC322. The winner has a solid claim towards being the greatest female fighter ever.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say this one of the most skilled title fights we've ever had in the UFC, period. Historic implications in this one. #WMMA #MMA

Every time a "big" story breaks in #MMA I'm stunned by how many people don't check their sources and double-check the information they receive.

I think wannabe journalists forget that they're writing about real people, gyms, and legal situations. Due diligence is the least owed.

Gerald McClellan turns 58 today, so here's a clip of the "G-Man" flooring Jay Bell with a snappy body shot in 1993.

This was McClellan's first WBC middleweight title defense after beating Julian Jackson for the belt three months earlier. #boxing

Jasmine must have seen the Nelson/Frevola fight and thought everyone had to be stopped 2+ times. #UFCVancouver #MMA

Frankly stellar timing from Charles Jourdain on his flying knees tonight. His shot selection up the middle was accurate and devastating - great finish against a respected veteran in Davey Grant. #UFCVancouver #MMA

A stoppage that could have been called sooner gets completely invalidated for *no* rational reason. Tough break for 🇨🇦 Kyle Nelson, horrible call by Dan Miragliotta tonight. #UFCVancouver
October 18, 2025 at 11:47 PM
Catastrophic error from referee Dan Miragliotta at #UFCVancouver drastically impacted Kyle Nelson's win over Matt Frevola.

Miragliotta stepped in when THREE seconds were still on the clock, then said he heard a bell (that never went off for round one). Hate to see it. #MMA

#UFCVancouver is just an insane card. Absolute pandemonium in almost every fight and Nelson vs. Frevola is no exception. #MMA

Hard to agree with a point deduction on the first accidental foul of the fight, but it ended up spurring Drew Dober's offensive onslaught.

Weird situation the referee brought on with the deduction he took his time to deliberate on. #UFCVancouver #MMA
