Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Hundreds of ICE recruits in training were not fully vetted. Had criminal histories, failed drug tests, failed physical tests. 50% of all new ICE agents failed the written test ALTHOUGH they could use notes and textbooks. But sure, give them guns and badges #DefundICE

I haven’t seen any, but I don’t think the Curator’s Office would have allowed anything to happen to the artwork and furnishings - they’re responsible for maintaining all of that, and they take that job very seriously.
