My M1 Pro MacBook Pro choked up a bit during mixing yesterday. I am currently looking at a Windows-based system but I am still a bit reluctant to switch. Would be nice to get decent performance for less money and adequate upgradeability though

You cannot say big corporations are not learning from each other. In the end, Apple did not go with naming their service "TV" like HBO did with Max.
