Early childhood educator. During the pandemic I continued to work with my kiddos. One 5 year old little boy looked at me one day and said "Tam, I don't know how you do it" when I said "do what" his reply was " make everyone smile".

Taking a walk always helps to clear my head. When I am listening to Spotify and Zac Brown Band's Ain't In No Hurry comes on I take it as a sign I should sit down and take in the view.

Great suggestion! Thank you

I am a preschool teacher. My kiddos choose books from the library for me to do their curriculum with. I randomly chose a book from the bag. Title: Love the World. I thought it was....interesting when I got to this page.

When the children in your child care program randomly choose the book Love the World from the library and you randomly pick it to do their learning opportunities this week.

Someone is letting me know he should NOT have to remind me to fill the feeders.

I was asked to do senior photos for someone that went through my child care program. During our time he told me I had the most influence on him (I am an early childhood educator) because I made him think. I would ask questions to make him think. Made me think of @matthewfacciani.bsky.social

Our republican governor here in VT, Phil Scott, has said no twice to a national guard deployment to DC. He also made this post on his FB page.

I had read somewhere on here that we should share when a republican does good things. There is a reason a blue state like VT has repeatedly elected Phil Scott.

I have been a fan of country music since childhood when my dad was in charge of the radio on Sunday afternoon drives. When I came across this, I felt it needed to share here because regardless of the genre, it's the message that matters

@hcrichardson.bsky.social I heard in one of your chats you were reading about Champlain. Here is a carving of Champ with Lake Champlain in the background.

Mrs. Cardinal was scolding me for having an empty feeder. Mr. Cardinal was supervising while I filled the feeders.

Saw this on my FB feed and thought it was a good message.

I was trying to decide what to listen to on my morning walk. I came across the chat between @hcrichardson.bsky.social and @jbf1755.bsky.social from 9/27 when this female cardinal starting yelling at me. I don't mind cardinals making my decision.

I was talking with a friend using the comparison of a whirlpool made in a pool as a child. You get it going so fast in one direction, you turn around and end up going backwards but the more help you get the easier it will be to change direction. Maybe we are there.

I started working in a nursing home when I was 15 (I am currently 52). The first resident I got close to was in a wheelchair due to polio. My MIL's brother was in a wheelchair due to polio. I often talk about those two when having conversations with younger generations.

I was listening to a conversation [email protected] and @joycewhitevance.bsky.social when Mr. Cardinal interrupted and called my attention to him.
