Tonight we had American food for dinner. By which I mean, left over kung pao Chicken, left over pasta with Italian sausage and Japanese seaweed salad. Perfectly American.

40 yrs ago everything in Greek museums was labeled “votive object”. One look at stuff and it was clear not all was used in religion-that’s a child’s barnyard player. Fences, cows,pigs etc. oh and that is a silly fish glass.

I grew up on the 1950s and 60s Godzilla movies. I know they are stupid silly but I really enjoy the current Monsterverse movies and tv and stuff. It's only slightly less silly than dubbed Japanese fare of decades long gone but I really like them and the (terribly inconsistent) world.

Seeing all these photos. Seeing all the little small red towns where a few hundred people showed up when they expected a dozen! We all protested where we live, along side our neighbors. We didn't have to travel to DC to ruin that orange idiot's day! America rose up EVERYWHERE! Wow!
