"Selling Out Is Bad" is a valuable concept and despite all the baggage and bullshit and elitism it could contain it's actually really good to reinforce the ideal that having integrity when it matters, especially when it hurts, is what good/cool people do. Should be adapted instead of jettisoned.

i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

the next character concept i want to make will have a doggy head so i've been going through some older depictions of cynocephaly and werewolves, really liked this one!

revisiting last year’s concept for a character i still know nothing beyond “yeah she looks badass” about

#martyfiveocs
digital art of a female character going up the hill with a weapon resembling a scythe with a long handle in her hand. the proportions of her body are weird, the arms and legs are too long. she’s wearing a hood/dress that makes her bones visible, like on the x-rays. her face is not visible because of that, only her skull. beside her there’s a fawn, also running up the hill.

there’s a castle and the mountains in the background. the sun is setting. with her hand she’s wrinkling the background like it’s nothing more than a stage curtain. beyond that curtain, many pairs of yellow eyes are shining in the dark. a more detailed concept of the same female character from the previous picture, with no background this time (but with a hare instead of a fawn). there’s even a second character dressed exactly like her, hinting that whoever she is, she’s not alone.

went to look at what i drew from life when i lived in cyprus for 3 years - practically no environments, only regularly went to figure drawing
but i did hang out a lot at this empty playground for some reason
maybe because it was next to an overgrown field, very peaceful in the evenings

Was in the mood for something minimalistic so have these
A galloping horse evading some arrows. Three vikingish raiders running, all fully erect. A wyrm. A drakkar-like ship.

vacation sketches from around stockholm! i feel a little disheartened by how much my traditional skills devolved, i think this is pretty similar to how i drew when i was like 16... still, it's fun to do and i like having sketchbooks that remind me of a specific place and time
