To the people coughing and sneezing on the train (or anywhere else, really): You know Covid is still a thing, right? Just had a patient in the ICU the day before yesterday.

And even if it's "just" the flu - I don't want that either. If you're sick and still going to work, wear a fucking mask!

Sneaky friend acting like a leaf...

Triangular shaped brown moth, probably a feathered thorn moth (Colotois pennaria), looking pretty much like a leaf. Including "veins" on the wings as well as wingspots looking like small holes.
Probably a female as the antennae are short and not feathered although they are hidden so you only see the first couple of segments.

Exactly 7 o'clock and I slumped into my chair. Simba is still inspecting Philly's food remains. But no doubt the big lad will soon be resting in my lap.

Simba came for a cuddle 8 minutes before I had to get ready for work.
The poor lad now has to wait until 7pm for the next opportunity.
