Not a hope in hell Branson runs a Manchester-Paris

The new Alstom trains for the Tunnel Virgin plans to order are continental European loading gauge, not UK, so can’t run anywhere beyond HS1 in the UK

So forget it

This is 💩

Interesting situation where both Trump and the Palestinian factions say the agreement guarantees end of war while Israel does not, this is distinct from the tone earlier in the year on the US side (Trump never said he would enforce the deal after phase one) but the US notoriously just lies.

NEW: Since October 2023, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit has released dozens of 3D animations illustrating alleged Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iranian sites

The style is now unmistakable: satellite zoom-ins, black & white wireframes, and red-textured houses - a new visual language of war

This is the Palm King butterfly, Amathusia phidippus. But it was known as Amathusia Gunneryi, named after Herbert Gunnery, a botanist, microscopist, and electrical engineer.

He joined the Army in 1915, aged 33, and served with the Palestine Tank Detachment.

Slow hand clap for @bathnes.bsky.social who have closed Entry Hill to build a zebra crossing (which is going to take 6 weeks to build!) while there are still roadworks on Bradford Road.

Sorry @honnopress.bsky.social but a first addition was cheaper than the paperback.
