If you're avoiding interacting with anime because of chuds online, you're doing it wrong, stuff like K-On, Bocchi and Frieren have nothing to do with these people ideologies and beliefs, they are just misappropriating media that has zero connection to their behavior

honestly, what can be done to fight back against this insane wave of bigotry online? online platforms besides bsky aren't doing anything anymore to moderate. In my country hate speech is a crime, but most of the time these people aren't from here, so there's nothing I can do. Insane.
