Woke up late, workng slow. Got the editing I needed done, since I have missed a few days worth. Not going to manage to finish by the 15th... I'm over 80 pages left.
Going to have to focus on hopefully, finishing by the end of the year at the last.

Very true in the US. Funnily enough, Germany allows title copyright and requires unique titles when publishing.
Fun copyright fact: you cannot copyright titles! Which is why there are so damn many books using short quotes from Shakespeare as their names.

Too tired to do actual work, so I finished up the System Apocalypse short story I started nearly a year and a half ago. Once it gets proofed, I'll go throw it out there and see if I can sell it.

Why is writing the start of a new story more fun than anything else? I just love writing starts... like the story can be anything, it just needs me to build it.

New extortion scam email going round (this was received via a writer's website contact form). I've seen a number of these recently but without the money demand; the translation angle is also a new one

Alright, the quallity level of IKEA furniture has taken a huge nose dive. Have another bookshelf to build but frankly, not sure if it's even worth putting together. The one I built is literally half-bowed because the parts aren't fitting properly.
