Few weeks back having tea under the St. Johns Bridge in Portland. Enjoyed some of our Light Roast Oolong while the boats went by on the Willamette River.

Tea among the ruins of a coal mine in WV. It was a lovely hike to get here and really special to have tea among the decaying structures where nature is retaking the place. Enjoyed some of our Sun Moon Lake black tea before hiking back up the mountainside.

Eastern Beauty Oolong in New River Gorge National Park, WV. We went on a beautiful hike and took a break on this rock in the New River for tea and lunch. Two white water kayakers came by just as we arrived. Grateful for spring and some warmer weather!

Snowy hike to have some 2018 Aged Shou Mei white tea at one of our favorite waterfalls. It was cool to see the ice patterns that formed from the misty water swirling around. Look forward to swimming here again when it warms up!

It’s titanium! I kept breaking ceramic ones while hiking/backpacking, so I have had this one for several years now. We’re gonna start carrying them soon! 😄
Another lovely hike in the hills around Tucson. Enjoying our Eastern Beauty bug-bitten oolong and taking in the scenery with a dear friend from high school. It had been way too long since I’d been down this way, and I’m grateful for the visit!

Had a great time at our tea workshop w/ @excelsiorcoffeesf & all their lovely employees! We tasted each kind of tea, went over brewing techniques, learned about how the teas are made & where they’re from. Thank you all for your time, attention, & excellent questions!
Just for the sake of what is generally more familiar to folks in the west. I feel that the more general heicha category is less known. What kinds of teas do you drink most often?
