Im not quite finished yet, but I'm inclined to agree with you. I don't love the change in style, or the touch screen stuff in general.

Still a fantastic game though, the formula just works. But yeah Aria definitely did a lot of stuff better. Maybe the finale will change my mind though!

I've never done any of the side quests or errands so it's been nice seeing all the old FF references. Also, this insane thing got a huge WTF out of me:

Especially against the mega clean and sharp UI elements, it's especially jarring. Maybe it's more noticeable since I'm playing in handheld exclusively, but gaaaaah.

I wish it didn't bother me this much. So much of the other stuff is fantastic, especially the dialogue.

I love Final Fantasy Tactics so damn much. And this new remaster will help reach so many new people. I hate to be this poopoo man but dude...

These graphics bother me SO MUCH.

I feel like everything is so smudged up and smoothed over. Looks AI upscaled (derogatory) I think it looks awful :(

What should've been the easiest layup of all time as a compilation of all multiplayer maps, guns, and modes turned into one of the buggiest, sloppiest launches of all time. Legit sold my Xbox One a week later in pure soul sucking disappointment.
