If you’re playing the Bubsy 4D demo and are enjoying it, give the Demon Tides demo a try. It’s also made by Fabraz and is very similar to Bubsy 4D, only in an open world setting. Really charming character designs, too.

Buy both these games and make these indie devs super rich. They deserve it.

I’m playing the Bubsy 4D demo tutorial level and ended up falling off the stage, causing me to play most of the course all over again. Thing is, all the cool shmovement in the game actually made it fun to get back.

Those crazy bastards at @fabraz.bsky.social actually made backtracking FUN. Damn. 👍

Catching up on Tuesday’s AEW Dynamite. Adam Page truly has become a compelling babyface. They really did give Hanger that main character energy. I don’t know how long his reign as champ is gonna last, but it’s gonna be a great ride.

I can’t tell you how many times “BANJO IS BACK” was posted the minute OG Yooka went live, then steadily went silent when people actually played it. The game tried to be something it’s not and everyone picked up on it. Even Playtonic did.

I haven’t played it yet, but just from observing what I have, it seems like Yooka-Replayee has distanced itself from being a spiritual sequel to Banjo-Kazooie and is now trying to do its own thing.

That actually rocks! It really held the original game back and gave a lot of people’s hopes up. [1/2]

They’re doing the “Scooby on two legs” thing from the Scrappy era. Yuck. I mean I get why, but Scooby-Doo is a dog-ass DOG and needs to be on all fours. Him standing like people is just wrong.

The skeleton onesie is a good touch, though. Makes Scooby-Two-Legs look less…unsettling. 😝
