Fulbright students at our university got only a few days notice that their stipends would be affected by a pause at Dept of State. Then they received only 25% of their regular stipend. Cruel treatment of young scholars and we are scrambling to help. #AcademicSky

The Nature piece is quite good. Thanks for sharing. I do wish there was more appreciation of the fact that the cases of Stanford and MIT don't represent what's going on at typical state R1 universities.
