Last night, I learned that I should work through difficult logic *before* stream 😸 The thing I was stuck on simplified a lot after realizing the desired value after the "compare_exchange" is always the same, no matter what the previous value is, so it could have just been an "exchange".

Ubisoft shut down Ubisoft Halifax less than a month after the employees there unionized. They claim that it has nothing to do with the union. Their excuse seems to be that it's really so they can outsource all control of their game franchises to the Chinese company, Tencent, as if that's better 😑

I briefly mentioned it at the end of last stream, but I'm going to try a very different sort of stream next week sometime. A friend has asked if I could teach her music theory from scratch, with potentially writing music in mind, which really intrigued me. She's also just started learning to sing.
