Found this 2nd hand gem in my local record shop last weekend. Nice surprise this album Motor City Scene by Pepper Adams. Although sometimes also appointed to Donald Byrd. Two tracks written by Adam’s, so I say it is a Pepper Adams album😊

Hadn’t heard of KPM until I read the “Max, Mischa & the Tet Offensive” by Johan Harstad. One of the characters is a jazz pianist, a good player but lousy in performing on stage. His piano teacher suggested to start playing for the KPM label.
