Voyager One piece I did for a friend’s zine a few months ago 💛🛰️

A digital painting featuring the space probe Voyager One with a bright rainbow wave coming out of its satellite dish. There are lyrics from various songs flowing from the rainbow with a scrapbook style to them, each word individually cut and pasted onto the piece. Voyager One itself is rendered with light and shadow, but the rainbow is not, giving it a fantastical look.

The lyrics pasted onto the piece are as follows:

A fun piece featuring my character Cathedral (the subway train) for a friend’s zine! She is from a project of mine called Motorheart, in which vehicles in the 20th century and onwards are produced with artificial brains that make them almost as sentient as the humans who created them.

A lineless digital illustration of a sentient subway train driving underground. It is formatted like an old advertisement, with text that reads: “Service with a smile… Explore New York on our new and improved advanced vehicle automaton fleet!” The subway train has an open-mouthed smile and looks generally joyful. It is mostly obscured by shadows, besides the beams of light coming out of its headlights, reflecting in the tunnel. The text is below the illustration of the train, and above the train there is a somewhat abstract array of buildings to represent the surface level city beyond the tunnels.

A piece I did for college in 2022 I have fondly named “T4T (Train4Train)”. All trains featured here are referenced from real models used in the NYC subway system over the years. And yes, it’s formatted like a poster that would be inside the train cars. One of my favorite pieces I’ve done <3

An omnichord-themed Valentine I did for an art swap on Discord. :-] <3
