i’m so late but Anno in general is a huge influence on my creative language. Shin Ultraman and Kamen Rider especially inspire the hell out of me along with Eva, specifically End of, 3.0 and Shin.

I can talk all day about how Eva's storytelling and aesthetics have influenced me but it actually goes much deeper than that. even Anno's directing style has been coded into my DNA. when I picture scenes from GlassBorn in my head, it tends to look and flow almost exactly like something he would make
