just got the confirmation that our older cat, seven eleven, has carcinomatosis -- basically, an aggressive cancer that doesn't respond to treatment. we're in pallative care stage for her but there's no telling when she will face a major decline. anywhere from a few weeks to a couple years, they say

having some fun with my sona’s design

a series of doodles on a light green background of a strange humanoid with no face, a mask-like green jawbone, and three floating pink eyes. notes on the canvas describe the character’s ability to grow a cartoonish “depression beard” made of plant matter when under emotional duress, as well as their ability to shed it. the character’s succulent-like horns also shrivel under the same circumstances.
