Feel like retreating to your own island away from the chaos and heartbreak of these days?

I have the game for you: Eilands.

It’s along the lines of Tiny Glade and Townscaper, but the focus is on nature.
Still in early development. Stay in touch for more info!

Rider: The AI assistant plugin is not compatible with the version of Rider you are using.

Me: Good.
Optimistic prediction, tbh. I'm betting on that great debate being "So if cockroaches are radiation resistant, does that mean it's safe to eat them?"

Aside from the nuclear codes, living with autocrats (some installed by the US) who routinely shit the bed is a common experience in many parts of the world. Honestly it's scarier to think there is no longer any great power that's at least on paper committed to democracy.
Man this was depressing to read
Why would one even need genAI for terrain generation? It’s not like there’s a lack of procedural techniques.
Sadly not in the sense that everyone's busy making cool impactful indie games.
We are becoming a “papers, please” country, and no one should want that.
Incidentally, I don't think I'd use any communal holodecks in the future.
You know, one possible explanation of the Fermi Paradox is that aliens just end up building virtual worlds that are more compelling than space exploration, so they don't even bother...

It just never had occurred to me that particular compulsion could be gooning to AI slop.
No worries, hope the game does well!
Reddit: “ChatGPT says it has killed 20 people and photographed the evidence, but I can’t seem to download the pics. Help me out!”
Breaking: OpenAI will soon allow verified accounts to use ChatGPT hire contract killers on the dark web.
"...updated our build hours before Next Fest"
Haha yeah this will go well
Well since this is doing numbers on TikTok, might as well share it here. Watch me crash out over a bug found on steam next fest launch day 🫠

Give our game a pity Wishlist: store.steampowered.com/app/3802470/...
I see "OpenAI Ethics" in trending. Yeah right, I say to myself. I click on it and am instantly and infinitely validated.
No need to prototype
In honor of spooky month, share a 4 word horror story that only someone in your profession would understand

I'll go first: Six page commercial lease.
Look I'm sure Jerry is a cool person, but isn't it weird that over 100K ppl have decided that one man's stream of consciousness is so much more interesting than anyone else's? It's like people have a need to make totems out of people.
You should be, this looks good!

Mockup of the timeline UI for my wip narrative adventure game ◀Future Ghost▶

It will fill in as the player character experiences or learns about the events included in the timeline. Most will have cutscenes, but not all.

Yikes! One time I was viewing a rental unit, and the owner kept denying anything needed to be fixed, no matter how blatant the issue. When it was time to leave, he tried closing the front door several times until it came off its hinges. I did not rent it.

Hope you manage to get outta there!
Makes you understand while people believe in “justice in the afterlife,” when there is little of it in this one.
