Gambling whether or not I should get tickets for my annual research trip to Europe. Now is when I usually purchase them.

Will American even be allowed to travel to the EU come July?

Fascist uncertainty.

I know law means nothing anymore, if ever, but as a reminder, tear gas and its derivatives (CS gas, pepper spray, etc.) is banned by the Geneva Convention.

Since the ban, the U.S. regime has never had a problem using it against its own people.

The U.S. demon has never had morals.

lol first time I've ever seen myself quoted in a @letterboxd.social review.

Don't tell Rudolph, but I still haven't watched the doc. I'm mortified to watch myself on film although I am perversely curious to hear Werner Herzog say my name.

I haven't produced a film since THE SUN SETS LIKE A SCAR in 2024, although I've been shooting.

Today I started scriptwriting & reviewing my footage.

My next film, ONLY IN COMPLETE SILENCE DO YOU HEAR THE DESERT, will be my first 2.4:1 anamorphic film. Here are sneak peeks.

What we need is a Tribunal révolutionnaire, but I guarantee you what these limpdicked politicians will try and sell us will be a Pacto del Olvido.

No one will be held accountable for any of this unless we, the people, organize and do it ourselves.

If you are not unconditionally on the side of President Maduro after his illegal kidnapping, then you are on the side of the Trump regime.

It's as simple as that.

There is no such thing as political nuance when it comes to blatant Western imperialist aggression.

The only legitimate President currently inside the United States is Nicolás Maduro.

Good movie year for me—one of the only things keeping me sane. Watched 261 films last year (41 were shorts); an average of 5/week. Also kept up my streak of watching at least 1 movie every week since August 2023 (125 weeks!)

Full stats & my 2025 Top 10 (so far!) below.

A little sneak peak at my recent translation of Bogdanov's book about science and the working class that should be coming out late next year from @iskrabooks.bsky.social

Quite resonant with me personally and professionally!

Deeply sadden to hear about the passing of Victor Grossman. I had the great pleasure of working closely with him as his Editor translating his book on American volunteers in the Spanish Civil War. We at @iskrabooks.bsky.social will be posthumously publishing his book for the first time in English.

Even though I'm teaching at a community college, I am interested in serving on graduate committees.

If you need (or know of a student who needs) an outside member, I've added a little blurb on my website outlining topics I'm interested in supervising.
