Thank you to Gawain Hewitt for leading the programme, Natasha Poland for creating the animation, and all the APs involved.

We’ve been working closely with The O2 who are passionate about empowerment through music and creating a music education programme. In Spring 2025, we delivered a successful pilot programme in four Alternative Provision settings and continue to work with the team at The O2 to expand the programme.

Domingos is a student at Kensington Aldridge Academy and wowed the audience and judges at Bush Hall with his performance.

Here is his original, Coded in DNA 🎤

Last week, Symphonic Band came together with She's Got Brass, City of London Sinfonia, & St Mary's Ukrainian School in an incredible and varied night of ‘A Musical Union’. It was a strong reminder of the impact music can have for bringing peace and unity.

Happy Thursday to our followers!

We are not done with sharing about the Future Sounds final just yet as we wanted to showcase the brilliant band, Realm from The Rhythm Studio, who were awarded as Star Performers 2 weeks ago.

Enjoy this clip of their original song, Wild Woman 🎸🎶

We had an amazing time last week at Future Sounds. It would not be possible without the people who contributed to making it happen. Hear from our music industry panel, performers & guests about how it all went!

Fantastic to see @tbmh.bsky.social making use of our ReTune scheme to recycle their old, unused musical instruments, with a Zero Landfill Guarantee. You can find out more about ReTune here: www.normans.co.uk/retune

Here at TBMH, we are working hard to become sustainable - particularly when considering what to do with instruments which are no longer in use by our young people. We are delighted to be working with @normansmusic.bsky.social through their ReTune scheme to recycle these instruments!
tbmh.bsky.social
Thanks to Norman's ReTune, non-profit scheme, our instruments and cases will be reused or recycled: cases are shredded to make MDF wood, and instruments are used for everything from spare parts/scrap metal to being turned into lamps thanks to Normans partnership with themeonlights.co.uk
