Fair enough, it’s certainly very reliant on stylistic influences from other games and movies and anime. I found one of the endings extremely unsatisfying but the two others actually resonated enough to elicit some catharsis and closure which is why I asked.
What didn’t you like? And which ending did you get?
Looks super cool, can’t wait for it to be finished
It’s hard to quantify the backlash the game initially got. First reviews were good which drove a lot of sales, and causal gamers who only play CoD and Gears and FIFA got it due to hype and loved it. But people who play a lot of games and enjoyed the series saw it as a disappointment and step back.
That’s not totally accurate though. Infinite was praised by professional reviewers on release, yes, and like a month later, after people actually played it and thought about it the general consensus was that its story was very flawed and gameplay very uninspired.
The amount of times I’ve been stuck on a section for 1-2 hours only to see you ace it the first or second time is insane. And I consider myself a pretty average to above average player so yeah I’ve learned to just expect you to blaze through difficult sections in games.
Me, someone who knows more about video games design than the average person: “what the FUCK?!”
Would be pretty wild to chose some girl he’s known for like a week over his long time friend tbh
So happy for both of you, congrats!
“We deep fried the broccoli cause the kids don’t like the taste of it” nah make those kids eat their veggies and they’ll learn to like it!
Been playing Lunacid and love that the game just has an in game manual booklet as its tutorial.
Mind explaining why? I played the game but never picked up on anything too extreme.
Act 3 is the least engaging part of the game to be fair. Tons of openness leading to lack of direction and some decision paralysis in knowing what order to approach things, and somehow it has the least interactivity between party members.
Lost Judgement definitely deserves a return look. Probably my favorite RGG story with a great villain. The school stuff is still fun to do but everything else you could just ignore.
HELP: trying to make a map like old #fallout games in #godot. A series of cell you can freely navigate, with each square containing events or random encounters. Was peeking at tiles/grid containers/having a static image with code but cant decide. Any help on this?

Nice to see Godot grow like that
Never trust a 5 star Asian food restaurant that shits wack and for tourists, you gotta go to the 3 and a half star spot where everyone looks mad that you’re even there ordering food at all. That meal is the one that will change your life.
I still make the claim that DeS has the best and most challenging level design. The bosses are a joke yet the stakes are even higher cause if you die you have to redo an entire tough level. In other games it seems the challenge was taken away from the level and added exponentially to bosses.
Perhaps I experienced it but did not notice it cause it just didn’t bother me? Cause I still don’t understand exactly your complaints it sounds nitpicky like when someone tells me a singer is off key and all I know is the song is catchy? Or saying one shade of green is different than another. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Is your intent to make me not like the game? Cause no footage you show me will make me say “the fun I had wasn’t real so the game is no longer a 9/10”. I loved the game, and will continue to do so, I’m just sorry you didn’t have fun with it and hope you play other games you enjoy like the OG.
Good to hear, I am excited to wrap it up!
I’m like 50 hours in and so far it’s my GOTY so I’m curious how the last act will feel based on that.
