Really love this embroidery I did before Christmas! The person who commissioned me asked for an embroidery of this area of Pollok Park in Glasgow, as it's where he and his partner spent their first date. I love hearing what makes a location special when you commission me 🌷🌹🌻

Thank you! Once it's done, I never remove it from the hoop, due to the amount of satin stitches. It would all buckle and warp if I removed it! To get close to the edge of the hoop, I make sure the fabric is drum-tight, and almost angle my needle outwards at the edges to get it as close as possible ☺️

This was a lovely commission to end 2024 on! I love stitching buildings, but there's something about coming back to stitching green fields that feels like a breath of fresh air 💚
