Found a Noam Chomsky book on the ground in Berkeley. It’s a coaster now. I ash my roaches on it. Given current events, this feels justified

what began as fog became mist and that became a drizzle and that became rain and that became a drechening.

i got jonah into dry clothes after a walk through the fish museum.

the iron law again today, but rain is coming ...

we watched the tide come in. jonah filmed birds and boats and nothing but what was in front of the lens.

tonight we've a racoon rustling in our hedgerows and an owl visited, possibly seeking one of our resident woodrats.

what do you call it when someone signs an agreement to not do evil, does evil, and picks up most of a clip going to work one morning?

a mangione moment?

a hooch call with grenade?

doing evil after promising a court the converse is wicked popular with far too many.

the model theory of multisorted modules is "everything works", just like in the model theory of ordinary 1-sorted modules.

my reading of mike prest's 2018 arxiv paper 1807.11889v1 [math.rt] multisorted modules and their model theory is interrupted yet again by a sunny day in {... dec, jan, feb, ...} and so the iron law demands beach time.

remembering usc's isi and icann's original digs.
Marina del Rey belies its roots as a pro-growth County enterprise from the '50s/'60s. All was geared for housing and vehicular access (early plans for the 90 Fwy had it reaching the docks).

But it's possible to get 10,000 steps there (map from my book) with a little imagination!

at the #pdx zoo yesterday jonah paused to shoot stills of most of the animals we walked past. i lost him three (3) times! first, when i observed a chimp interacting with a hominid. second, when we got to elephants' enclosure and i got lost in the baby elephant moment. and i stopped to watch tigers.
