I dunno, Idaho?

Maybe if you dont care about your rights...
Wide lanes, no traffic control, and painted bike lanes frequently used as parking by idiots.

Dude pulled a gun on me once because i tried to go around a car parked in the bike lane. Good thing he was going 50 mph in the 25 and wouldn’t have been able to shoot me.
Surprising to see S Seattle highlighted here, but then you realize this is about unmarried same sex roommates, not necessarily couples. Hence the concentration at UW
Meanwhile, when people actively steal the "Safe Street / Closed Street" signs, SDOT *never* replaces them.

To say its a one way street is too good of an analogy
Very good. This is a pretty typical spot for SPD to park to get donuts. Not even kidding. Hope this provides at least some deterrance
Bummed I missed it -- I signed up but got very sick just in time! Will there be more of these in the future?
Its just so so ironic that SDOT absolutely hears our cries for raised crosswalks but then only applies them to bike lanes, and not to...you know... the problem lanes.
Too high of an income to qualify as low income, too low income to afford a $400 class, but plenty of money to purchase a car and gas.

Totally checks out. Not BS at all
Seattle PD does not protect our community. They terrorize marginalized people, park illegally in our bike lanes and on our sidewalks, run red lights when not on an emergency, and do not enforce *actual* dangerous behaviors like dangerous driving.

Great example of why flex posts and paint are bullshit
SDOT’s Georgetown to Downtown protected bike lane isn’t even open yet and it’s already failing.

Glad to have seen this done but I can't help to notice (1) minimal separation from cars (there WILL be someone driving down this) (2) more unnecessary ups and downs (Can't we choose a single level?) and (3) A lack of urgency (how long did this take anyways?!)
I am partial to the Ice Box on Leary. Tough to cross but along the Burke, kid friendly until 8pm, pinball, arcade, beer, snacks.
Ice cream fixes this.
Why do people even need to drive there? Can’t we have ONE street? Cars have everything!
I wonder if Franz Ferdinand ever thought about touring Sarajevo in an open-top limousine.

It would be so cool.
Counterpoint: Hilarious that Charlie Kirk is being beat by catturd2
Isn’t this basically exactly where the new light rail station will go?

Won’t work without more traffic calming.
Painted bike lanes don’t stop people that don’t care.

THAT is the failure of SDOT.
And I heard they are removing the stage too! Slippery slope till some people demand (or just do) parking on the plaza.

What would happen if we closed down Pike there again? Probably a lot of activation.
Hank, you're already good at using the internet!

Definitely should check out Free Gold Watch by Golden Gate Park! I don’t live in the bay but it’s my go-to every time I visit.
Crossing Spokane Street next to Jefferson park, a park frequented by children, 99 times out of 100 when I press the RRFB button, cars speed up rather than slow down.

Lights (and paint) do nothing.
Today I saw the piece of mail in my mailbox advocating for 1B (endorsed by the mayor??) and promptly replaced it with my ballot for 1A!
