My first two dogs were huskies.
Akitas are not Huskies...they usually do their work while sleeping.
If you throw them a ball to invite them to play, they look at you as if to say: get it yourself.
I can't help it, but I love this breed.

In Germany, we named a bird "Chicken Hawk" (Hühnerhabicht) – perhaps in California you have an "Egg Eagle".
