I have always been of the opinion that naturists/nudists/clothesfree folk should only post images *with* their faces i.e. being identifiable for what they believe in; should they feel that showing their faces would have socio-economic or criminal repercussions, they should refrain from posting.

Obviously there are other reasons why some people may be unwilling to show their faces, most notably socio-political ones, i.e. they live in countries or cultures in which nudity can be grounds for dismal, social sanctioning, or even criminal punishment.

I'd like to add that pictures of clothesfree people without faces can connote "shame" or "admission of guilt" to those who do not share our understanding of naturism. ("She knew she was doing something wrong... that's why she has to hide her face.")

Without a face, a photo of a nude body can feel anonymous, objectified, or even dehumanized. It's just "a body." Once you attach a face, the person becomes real, relatable, and recognizable. So yes, a face makes a nude photo feel more authentic, personal, & human. My opinion.
