But if I understand the protocol right it’s more like an operating system to replace all the social media apps.
People will build text streams sure, but also photo and video sharing apps, music, social audio, metaverse things…

Kind of nice that I don’t feel like I have to rush to grab usernames of apps I’m working on or whatever with bluesky, since I can use the app’s domain itself as a username.

Set up my account last night. Discovered dark mode 🤩and scrolled for a bit and went to bed. Been on 5mins this morning and feeling #bluesky waaaaay more than I ever felt mastadon. This might become my new bad habit!
