Running away from critiques of capitalism in order to avoid being labeled anti-American communists has consequences. For example, it opens the door to the wholesale criminalization of poverty that we are starting to see just now.

How easy it is for the cowardly to always punch down on those whom they consider to be "the undeserving." Punching up on those who take advantage, after all, would require real courage.

Its really not a matter of whether the economy is good or bad, or whether the job market is good or bad. Its that we live under an increasingly antagonistic form of economic rationality that is systematically stripping the flesh off our very bones.

Why does everything have to re-write history. Why can't it just add to our knowledge, and raise a number of interesting questions, and new lines of future research.

Despite the best efforts of progressive podcasters to suggest otherwise, he is astoundingly energetic. Biden never had the fortitude to personally fight on so many fronts at one time, simultaneously attacking Time Magazine, Hamas, Portland Oregon, John Bolton, Spain, Venezuela, Putin, Xi, etc.

Modern women and allies should be on high alert. MAGA exhortations to more (white) babies and tech titan's derision of work-life balance together point in one direction -- women exiting the paid workforce.

Apparently, when people are flush with excitement, because they sense that total cultural, social, economic, and political domination may very well be nigh, they no longer think it reckless to say all manner of reckless things.

Bloviator is now calling ICE/guard protestors as "insurrectionists." First reason is that the "i word" is part of the threshold for mobilization of the guard. Second reason is to flip the script on Jan. 6th, so that the word is emptied of meaning.
