What do you know about the carnage that Columbus brought? The diseases he introduced alone wiped out at least 90% of the population. I read a Dakota author who used the events of WWII as a comparison. Trust me, you would have better luck telling someone to not hate Hitler

His term expires January 20th, 2029 no matter what. Cancelling the election doesn't change that. The next president would be someone from the senate if all elections were cancelled. Since elections are run by the states, he'll have a hard time canceling them. Pushback will be very organized
