Because I'll never forgive Netflix for cancelling the series, go and watch the documentary on the original film. The work that went into it is *incredible* and deserving of respect.

I unearthed the 18 year old scene done in #LightWave. Obviously I lost the planet and the stars, as you do. It was rendered at the mindblowing resolution of 1024x427 pixels. No motion blur, no fancy PBR rendering, no GI, nothing. Gonna take that to #blender and see what happens.

I didn't know this was even a setting! Updated 👍🖖

My evil plans for Deck Zero version 2 are proceeding apace. As soon as I learn what the hell I'm doing that is. Still, this is a good start! #blender #unreal #startrek

The great thing is this works regardless of what's in the news cycle.

Honestly, Face of Evil was one I would have added if I remembered it.

I know some see it as a lesser episode of TNG but I've never understood why. Patrick Stewart especially gets a chance to really act in this episode. His broken monologue at the end is so good.

On its birthday, share one image from your favorite TNG episode. (hard to pick just one...)
A still image from the Star Trek The Next Generation episode "Family". In the image, Picard (Patrick Stewart) is covered in mod and crying in front of a leafy green backdrop. A still image from the Star Trek The Next Generation episode "Parallels". The image focuses on a grainy and static-filled viewscreen image of a possible Captain Riker. He has an overgrown beard, unkempt hair, and a manic look in his eyes. The bridge seen behind him is out of focus, but clearly in disarray. A still from the Star Trek The Next Generation episode "Starship Mine"; in which Commander Data (Brent Spiner) is looking down slightly while delivering some "small talk" to Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) and William Riker (Jonathan Frakes). Beverly is looking at William with a bemused expression, while William is in the midst of trying to hold in laughter. The three are standing in a beige room, with a large circular window over Data's left shoulder. There are green plants under the window.

Do not open goblins? But if I don't open goblins I can't make delicious Bean Soup??

I'd take a remaster even, at this point

Took a bit of a break from a lot of social media stuff. Took some time for me, playing games I've been putting off, catching up on commissions. Feeling, well, not exactly 'better', but definitely not NOT better! Even a little bit of progress is still progress!

Hmmm. Did I want to do anything on my computer today? Or did I want to render out 1951 frames of animation in Cycles...

I don't know what you look like, but I can say with 100% certainty both are accurate.

I'm so incredibly disappointed with everyone involved in the new shows and whatever replacement media is being put together - but yeah, Pegg and Frost, and Berry do indeed hurt. Lost any respect I have for them. Inexcusable decisions.
