End of life! At the end of this month, our lifetime licence from TeamViewer ends. We got a few more years out of it after it was first announced that life didn't mean life— it didn't mean anything really. I guess they had hoped to get more money from us, but we just went to the competition.

PHP 8.5 update. Last week the latest version of PHP was released. All packages hosted by us have been updated, with just a few exceptions. Those that cannot be updated are packages with old websites. Customers should give some thought to updating to the latest standards.

A large number of domain prices will increase very shortly. The price increase doesn't impact on our customers with .uk addresses, only those with domains from Verisign, Identity Digital and CentralNIC will rise. For example, .com is now £15.49. Please check with us or look out for our email.

End of an era! We heard from our distributor that Microsoft is stopping support for Hosted Exchange. This has been the backbone of our professional mail service for years. We will have to move our customers to an alternative. Pity Microsoft doesn't provide a migration service

If you ever needed an example of why we install Wordfence on all our WordPress websites today is a great example. Wordfence picked up and reported malware on a site. We checked the files on 3 other top competitors sites and none gave the detail or would have warned of the danger. Happy Admin here!

Grade A website speed. This is what we aim for every time we build or update a site. If it is fast and devoid of errors, it gets the listing you want to see. SEO is important - build it right and you are well on your way.

As of 08:30 Friday 10 Jan 25 all sites are responding correctly. We didn't get to the bottom of this other than narrow the cause to either CloudFlare or the connection to CF. Sites disconnected from CF returned to normal. We will keep monitoring - as always.

As of 08:30 Friday 10 Jan 25 all sites are responding correctly. We didn't get to the bottom of this other than narrow the cause to either CloudFlare or the connection to CF. Sites disconnected from CF returned to normal. We will keep monitoring - as always.

For customers using Woocommerce. You may have been warned that your site is vulnerable. Don't worry, all sites hosted by us have been updated to 9.4.3 this morning. These sites are also on an automatic backup running at least once every 24 hours.
