Trump and RFK keep talking about “causes,” but where are the solutions? Where’s the support? This isn’t advocacy—it’s performance. And it leaves Autistic people and our families to carry the weight, without the resources we actually need.
We deserve better.

There’s decades of nuanced research into Autism—genetics, evolution, neurology. But this conversation isn’t really about helping Autistic people. It’s about scoring political points in a fight with “big pharma.”

Even those of us who require lifelong support deserve to be spoken about with respect, not as problems to be solved. And while I do have certain privileges, I still face real challenges—and I see the damage this rhetoric is causing.

What’s being said right now—framing Autism as an "epidemic" or something with a single “answer”—is deeply harmful. It’s dehumanizing. This kind of language doesn’t help Autistic people; it turns us into political pawns.
