Sabalenka probably clinched the Year-End #1 today with the Swiatek loss but until the WTA says something I'm not taking it as clinched because of all their bizzare rules and penalties.

Paolini in a golden spot now after the upset to make Riyadh.

What a win for Arthur Rinderknech 6-3, 6-4 against Felix Auger-Aliassime to make the Semifinals in Shanghai. He had never made it past Round 3 at any 1000 or Grand Slam before this week.

No issues for Coco Gauff, who cruised past Laura Siegemund 6-3, 6-0 and returns to the Wuhan Semifinals.
