While this may not be balmy weather, the sun, coupled with slightly rising temperatures, has allowed for some melting overall- albeit it's been a slow process. Yesterday marked the second day at or above freezing with a high of 33° at HIA after 9 days of sub-freezing temperatures. It may be our warmest day of the next seven, thanks to a few shots of colder air ahead. The first shot will come today and tomorrow as temperatures will be slightly cooler than yesterday, thanks to a front that came through last night. Sunshine will prevail in its wake today and Thursday with highs just below freezing, around 30° each afternoon.

Yesterday's sunshine brought afternoon highs into the low 30s. It was a pleasant afternoon across Central PA yesterday, and another one is on tap today. Clear skies last night allowed temperatures to drop into the single digits and teens, so this morning is starting colder. The sun today will help the numbers bounce back, however, and another day in the low 30s is quite likely. Clouds will increase tonight with lows again in the teens.

After a windy and frigid weekend, this morning continues to be quite cold. Lows are in the single digits, and York dipped below zero for a time. Eventually, and thanks to plenty of sunshine today, temperatures will warm up and make a run at 30° this afternoon. A few clouds will move in this afternoon, but it will generally be a pleasant way to kick off the week. Tonight will bring increasing clouds with lows in the teens. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy and milder, with highs in the upper 30s. A stray shower is possible tomorrow night as a weak front passes through, but it shouldn't amount to much more than a few drops.
