Yes Phil. What a once in a lifetime opportunity for Worcestershire to obtain a major body of water to be managed for nature. We have lost the important waters of Larford and Bredons Hardwick to other activities and Westwood Pool is now off limits. What a chance to redress the balance

Bean Goose and YLG were on Upper Bittell at lunchtime Mike
Clee Hills. 3 Wheatear with one very large colourful bird probably a Greenland. Also Red Kite, numerous Meadow Pipits and 10 Stonechat
Worcs. Stonechats showing well this week with 3 at Lineholt, 2 at Shenstone and 2 at Hagley
Good to find 7 Curlew Sands at Bittell Res early afternoon. Flew north but 4 of them later relocated only to leave NW again at 3:30 pm. Also enjoyed Josh's 2 Rock Pipits late afternoon

Nice to catch up with Rob's 2 Curlew Sands at Upper Bittell
Clee Hills were alive with migrating birds yesterday. Countless Meadow Pipits and good numbers of Wheatear and Stonechat moving through. A hunting Merlin was the pick of the raptors.
I was one of the last to catch up with the RNP at Bittell which unfortunately perished
The last one I can remember like that was the one at Kemerton many years ago

Yes its been superb Mike. The hour or so with the Glossy Ibis followed by the Honey Buzzard was special. They were both firsts for Bittell. Been good throughout especially the numbers of Greenshank, Wood Sands and Ruff. Pleased to see UW still turning out the birds as ever.
Hi Mike. Enjoyed the well marked Garganey on Amys and the Little Stint showed briefly, though had better views the other day. Red Kite flew east at 2:00pm but missed Curlew Sand. Think there may well be others

Grimley. Whinchat in the bushes at the side of the wmbc car park early afternoon. Also 2 G W Egret and 13 Little Egret
Churchill. 3 Redstarts Adm/Adf/Juv gave excellent views. Feeding and bathing in the puddles from the hedgerow
