Ministry of the Future was such a tough read. That opening scene haunts me still. Every time my lips get a little chapped I think of it.

(yes, that was the point)
I have in fact played an irl barcode scanner game at IndieCade / GDC AltCtrl and can confirm that it’s great.

There’s obviously a lot to unpack here … from undisclosed private donors… to the lack of approvals and review…

But what no one seems to be focusing on:

“Trump said the project had grown in size and now will accommodate 999 people.”

Is this all a misguided attempt to make the Haunted Mansion?!?
I feel like I’m missing something here.. joke explainer needed
apparently L’il Sebastian was at another protest (not my photo, couldn’t find OP credit)
#NoKings at Pawnee City Hall.

Leslie Knope is somewhere in the crowd managing the inflatable costume repair table.
Just my early morning typos
Pics of sequins and/or boss please ;)
Short-person hat: At 5’2” I’m definitely getting less show for my money on the dance floor than in the seats. Also you have to be ready to be on your feet for 9 mins.
The illusion is great almost everywhere in the venue. It’s absolutely perfect the closer to middle center seats you are (blended eye point)

Professional hat on, I like the dance floor because you can wander a bit and see the spots where it does start to break. And the dance floor energy is great.

Just out for a quiet neighborhood walk full of affirmations, duckies, and severed arms.

small poem. i've been playing a lot of "name the 500 biggest urban areas in the US" type games lately to keep my mind busy when i'm fretful
‘Are we the baddies’ seems so sweet
Cootie rat semen is terribly disrespectful.
This is COSM’s strategy— make a bunch of venues that can play your custom content. And make the scale of the venues small enough that they can be regional-level-investments.
Also worth making time for the Jewel. Especially the play experiences at the top floor. The net bounce crawl is epic and wonderful.

(arriving or leaving there’s luggage storage to make exploring easy)
Also Gardens by the Bay and SuperTree Grove do live up to the hype IMO.

The supertree viewing deck/walkway is great. Worth going evening for the day to night transition.
