For those wondering, I finally have a diagnosis of what was making me so ill, Salmonella. I have been prescribed antibiotics, and am waiting for public health to start an investigation. I caught it from the resort I was at, definitely. They still need to do an investigation though.

For those wondering, yes, I am still alive, I am still very ill though. It's been 18 days as of today I've had whatever it is I caught in the Dominican. Tests have been taken so hopefully get results soon. I am still here, just not present.

Good morning everyone, hope you had a great sleep. I don't realize how nice my home bed and pillows are until after I come home from a trip. Had a great sleep last night. I put those luggage tags up on Etsy and had a few sales yesterday which was really nice.

Good morning everyone, hope you had a great sleep last night. It's nice to be in my own bed, tonights dinner is going to be blackened chicken, I absolutely love the seasoning on this. Of course we will have probably rice and veg with it. Off to do some laser engraving.

One more day of beautiful sunrises, then back to the cold Ontario winter. The wind blowing and the sound of the waves are magnificent. Just wish there wasnt sand.

Good morning, hope you all had great sleeps. I had a few minutes this morning so I engraved a few luggage tags for some new luggage we bought. The red goes well with the blue, and I think the Canadian Maple Leaf looks beautiful on that red background.

Good morning everyone, hope you had a great sleep. It's another day of snow here in Oshawa, Ontario. That means, shovelling. And it's enough that I will have to shovel probably 4-5 times to keep ahead of it. Those are my plans, shovelling, life is grand.

Good morning, sorry missed a couple good mornings. Had a couple of really just terrible days, nothing health wise, broke my plow, water leak in our house, ran out of gas, had to drive on the 401 the day after the storm. Oh well, today is a fresh new day, into the woodshop.

Supper tonight was really good. Two spatchcocked chickens, and corn, peas, and rice. Everyone is in a rush so simple meal. Love it.

Afternoon, I finally turned my first salt cellar. I need more practice and a few more attempts till I find exactly what I am looking for. Also needs a lid. This is Sugar Maple, I might use a softer hard wood to make this.

Yesterday while I was in the garage being angry with myself and pouting, I made a shot glass for myself. It's made of sugar maple, I just need some UV resin to line the inside so Alcohol can be poured into it.

So my inability to do anything this morning led to me making this, a new handle for my wood vise. The old one was used to make a paper press for my daughter when she took up paper making. Made from one piece, but cut and hallowed out one part to fit through handle.

Turning some wood today and this showed up, an inclusion inside this sugar maple. I am just really happy it didn't explode on me during the turn. I can fix this, it will be beautiful when it is complete.

I am currently sitting in my wood shop, surrounded by tools to do anything I want, and my imposter syndrome and ADHD won't allow me to even stand up. I am afraid to do anything. I am sweeping the floor 1sq metre at a time.

Tonights dinner was a Mexican inspired ground pork. My wife and son made burrito bowls, I am currently no eating carb filled meals, so I had a salad.. it was delicious.
