This might be off-base, but I feel like shotguns in multiplayer games when I was younger were really strong to the point of potentially being overpowered, and over the years they've been collectively nerfed into being dookie dog water.
Personally, I prefer when shotguns were fun!

I was never really that big on the first Code Vein (aside from the waifus of course) but I'm getting kinda interested in the sequel. I guess it'll depend on whether it plays better and has more interesting maps than the first.
