GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN, DONT DIE opens like an AI merged THE TERMINATOR and GROUNDHOG DAY.

But this funny, savage and surprising anti-tech comedy is so intricate and angry — so shamelessly ambitious — you can’t believe today’s Hollywood put up the cash to get it made

I spoke to Emerald Fennell, Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi about adapting ‘Wuthering Heights’ and their desire to make the viewer feel something for @latimes.com
With her 'own version' of 'Wuthering Heights,' Emerald Fennell gives us 'permission to go too far'
We sat down with Jacob Elordi, Margot Robbie and a British director known for taking chances to discuss an Emily Brontë adaptation unlike any attempted before.

Turn-ons of Emerald Fennell’s WUTHERING HEIGHTS include raw eggs, rainstorms, dog collars, horse bridles, paper mushrooms and aspic-smothered fish — a caricature of lust that befits this unconvincingly erotic adaptation of a Victorian-era novel written by a virgin.

Review: 'Wuthering Heights' is a bold, filthy fantasy — but these moors need more erotic heat
Emerald Fennell, the provocateur of 'Saltburn' and 'Promising Young Woman,' struggles to burn down the screen even with Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi and a tinderbox of kinks.

with respect to every other outlet, no one has done a better job at covering the cultural impact of Bad Bunny before AND after his Super Bowl performance better than @latimes.com De los section. Here’s a thread, starting with this thoughtful essay on Ricky Martin

Essay: Ricky Martin's Super Bowl performance was an act of justice for the 1990s
Though it lasted only 30 seconds, Martin's Super Bowl moment was a symbolic demonstration of how far Latin music has come in the United States.

I doubt this has happened before: 11 of this weekend's top 15 movies were made independently, inc. 4 of the top 5. There is nothing holding down overall grosses and attendance more than the fact that studios have forgotten how to do what they used to do, which is to fill the pipeline with movies.

Love the Highland. Named it one of LA's best movie theaters for some of the same reasons that Kristen Stewart is bringing it back -- a cheap, chill hang-out spot, or as she says, "an antidote to all the corporate bullshit."

I’m hesitant to call MELANIA propaganda because I can’t imagine anyone watching this movie and thinking that Melania Trump comes off well.

If it had subversive designs of being a satire about the first lady, there’s not much it would have changed.
