Bought a Silca wax system last March. Then surgery and bed rest happened and I never got to even plug the thing in until today. It won’t turn on. I sent Silca an email and they got back to me in literally minutes to replace it under warranty. Silca fan girl for life.

Introverts who don’t go to the gym sometimes are intimidated by the idea of going.

But have you considered it’s the one place where you’re allowed to mind your ow business? It’s expected, even.

Manifesting a snow day

And while I’m manifesting, I would like a Screaming for Vengeance cycling jersey, in a cut that will actually fit me, a woman born one year after that album came out.

I had to have a bunch of organs removed in May, so it was a slow year on the bike. But I’m glad I got out there, and even finished my first gravel race!

My favorite ride though was up Gold Camp Road in the mist.

Off on a new adventure tomorrow, so it’s possible I could surpass it.

I miss when I had no fucking idea who the SecDef was. The last two I remember before this current situation are Rumsfeld and Mattis, only because they were both insane.

New boss was both-sides-ing but followed with, “I’m not a socialist but shouldn’t we feed kids? I don’t want socialism but shouldn’t we have healthcare? Other countries have parental leave.” etc.

"The Bovadium Fragments’ is a parable of the destruction of Oxford (Bovadium) by the motores manufactured by the Daemon of Vaccipratum (a reference to Lord Nuffield and his motor-works at Cowley) which block the streets, asphyxiate the inhabitants, and finally explode.”

Today I discovered a new thing about my city: bicycles are banned on some streets because of high pedestrian traffic.

One of these is a street which has been widened.

Yes, bikes are the problem, here. Sure.

Monthly DoD payroll is ~$16 billion. This supposed "gift" would cover less than 1% of that amount.

If split evenly among active duty service members, each would get just under $100.

Reporters who don't challenge on this are committing egregious malpractice.
