My childhood has voted RotLD the scariest horror movie of all time. It wasn't a choice, it just happened- but Tarman had a lot to do with it.

Even well into adulthood, I'd get the occasional bit of willies when it rained and had to go get something from the car.

So, packaging design choices aside, the DK Books #Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopedia is terrific. Loads of different characters, nicely laid out, and LOVE that they reference #BlackLibrary content too!

First tabletop wargame? 40k Rogue Trader. What a book that was. A real work of imagination before the 40k universe had solidified.

(Let's not dwell on the actual rules, though. Thankfully 2nd ed came out not long after I started playing).

Having half the book’s depth taken up by hollow air is…not.

I’m not a fan of this kind of packaging strategy, and would gladly have paid the same for a non-mini version. #feedback
